IPeeTV Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

How IPeeTV handles copyright infringement notices: what a notice must contain, how we review it and how to dispute a removal.

Our policy

IPeeTV respects intellectual property. We follow a notice-and-takedown procedure based on the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). It does not replace any reporting procedure under the law that applies to you, including in Australia. Every complete notice is reviewed.

If you believe content accessible through IPeeTV infringes your copyright, tell us so we can review it and take appropriate action.

What a notice must include

A valid notice includes the following information.

1. Your details

  • your full name, or the name of the organisation you represent;
  • a way to contact you.

2. The copyrighted work

  • the copyrighted work you believe is infringed;
  • a description detailed enough for us to understand your notice.

3. Where the content is

  • exactly where the content appears in the service;
  • as much detail as possible: channel name, title, date and time of broadcast.

4. Your statements

  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the content is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  • a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

How we handle a notice

  1. You send your notice with all the information above.
  2. We check that it is complete and valid.
  3. We act: valid notices are reviewed and may lead to the reported content being removed or access to it being blocked, in line with the applicable rules.

Inaccurate notices

Anyone who knowingly makes a false or misleading claim that content infringes their rights may be held liable. If in doubt, ask a legal professional before sending a notice.

Counter-notice

If you believe content was removed by mistake, you can send a counter-notice the same way. It includes:

  • your name and a way to contact you;
  • the content that was removed or blocked;
  • a statement that you believe in good faith the removal was a mistake;
  • your physical or electronic signature.

Sending a notice

Send your notice to our team on WhatsApp, starting your message with DMCA notice. The WhatsApp button is on our contact page. See also our content disclaimer.
